I have had this call 6 times in one day. Because I have not been with British Gas for several years and it announces that it is a customer service call to Mrs T. Greener which, is not me by the way, I have just hung up on the call.However, the last two calls I have let my answer machine take the call but, in each case no message has been left. This is very annoying. I have no intention of phoning this number back which, appears to be a scam and could incur me in substantial costs.

got a call from this number today saying how they can clear my debt, told them i was going to prison for life. They said oh sorry and never called back agian.

No reply when I pick up phone.. silent for a few seconds then line goes dead

Had a call this evening from this number, it was 3G Mobile (Far East Branch/Indian Sub Continent Branch) supposedly offering a contract or the opportunity to switch to them. Irritating and intrusive calls do nothing except reinforce my wish to never use the Company concerned. I am currently with Orange who do not make cold calls.

Me too. On the 17th of August. The caller left no message and the Caller ID says "Unavailable"It is a local phone number from Switzerland Zurich area. I tryed to get informations from the phone company, but they didn't wanted to give me any further informations. I tryed to call back on this number 3 times.

said it was fraud prevention from the halifax asked to press 1 - its a scam

I'm in Northern Ireland and just got a missed call from this number. And didn't answer because my phone was on silent but I thought it might have been important so I decided to trace it. However, I see here that there are numbers very similar to it posted up here - just the last digit is a -7 as opposed to a -6 or -8.If anyone has any ideas, I'd be grateful and curious to hear them.I'm on 3G Mobile.

Call from this number at 6.32pm today - asked for someone who has never lived here, then proceeded to ask who we were, what our postcode was and would we answer a few questions. Politely repeated several times that we were not interested until they got the message. Am exdirectory and TPS registered.No idea who it is - foreign (Pakistani?) accent, very difficult to understand.
