keep's ringing our company but no one on the other end of the phone, sounds like someone is putting the phone down on you! ring's about 5 times a day.

Company purporting to be connected to Sky and saying they were picking up insurance cover from a company who had gone into receivership. Wanted to set up a direct debit. The offer was declined - Sky still in warranty.Later they phoned and asked my elderly father to confirm his Visa number ...he did and they tried to take money from his account. Fortunately, he gave them a wrong digit and the transaction failed. I have subsequently cancelled his card.

My wife just received a call from the this number saying they were from SKY, and that they wanted to give us a 10% discount for being good customers?? They just wanted her to confirm our bank details?? She told them that the bank details were mine and put me on the phone. The guy then changed his story to say that it was a discount on the £6 a month SKY insurance that we were paying? When I told him we didn't pay such an insurance he said MY MISTAKE AND HUNG UP???????? Be very careful!!!!!!

This lot have continued to call me for the last 2 weeks, the same story as the rest, i have told them that i am not interested, they have now tried withholding the number. I have now got our legal people involved. We will have to see what they can do!
