Called at midnight to tell with an electronic voice to answer their questions.They called back when a hung up.

I received a message from "this guy's wife" supposedly telling me to call this number when I received a check from their bank. This telemarketeer uses a scheme to call "en masse" out of the are code 714 such as 714 333 2408 or other numbers with 714 are code. THen they play a pre-recorded message selling airline tickets, phone cards...Then they left this number to call 647 724 5793.

I to answered an e-mail advertizement and recieved letter with a cashiers check and instructions to call 1-905-598-5158 before cashing the check at my bank. The phone number for the Bank on the check does not check out and other resurch reveals this is a fraudulant check and a scam.

647-893-6353 is affiliated with an 'advance fee’ lottery scam. The company name is; Royal Trust Financial of P.O. Box 4545 Windsor, Ont. The potential victim is sent a letter from Cindy Ashworthy (Finance Director) informing him that he is a winner of the USA Mega Millions and is entitled to the sum of $250,000. Enclosed with the letter is a check in the amount of $4,950 (counterfeit) to pay the legal and administrative fees. The victim is instructed to contact claims manager Fred Adams. This is a SCAM.

I've been calls from this number, asking for me by name and acting as if they know me. If they really knew me, they would know that I do not go by the official name that was given to me but rather my middle/nickname. Then when my husband says that I am not home, they tell him that it's KAREN calling and that they'll call back at another time.
