  • VZW does this to help you avoid high overages that might put a bad taste in your mouth about Verizon Wireless. The texts/phone calls are based on the last 3 months of usage, so you may not currently be over your texting, data, or voice minutes. They will offer to put you on the next plan up for service and backdate the plan, which will often bring your overages way down. You can always switch back the next billing cycle if it was a one-time overage. If you are unsure of the validity of any text/call from VZW, dial *611 from your handset to contact Verizon Wireless customer service. This is airtime free. The number on the original post is authorized by Verizon Wireless.

  • If you have ever seen the movie with the kid who wants his 2 dollars...I think that character was molded after Charlie Taylor. This guy is the incredible hulk of debt collectors. After some lengthy research and a phone call to the Federal Trade Commission, according to the FDCPA ruling and a dialog with a representative from the FTC, Charlie Taylor has broken a multitude of laws in abidance to the rulings in this matter. He has been and needs to be continually reported to the FTC sentinel. The man is a true model of a 2 bit hustler troglodyte. If you, family members, friends and any known acquaintances, have been contacted by this man ( and I'm sure he will try to ruin you with all of them) report him immediately to the FTC.

  • this is a yellowpages scam they call themselves "the online real yellowpages" which makes you think they are with AT&T and they are NOT. they call people from a private number and make contracts over the phone ans then they send you and invoice with $349.95 and threaten you to pay them or pay a 3 months cancellation fee of $173.2 they should be stopped they are targeting small businesses and taking money with no right and they are not operating from the united states and they are using fake american names.

  • They threaten to cancel your extended warranty on your vehicle if you do not respond to them within 3 days. Here is the thing... I do not have any warranties on my car. I called my insurance man and he said that it had nothing to do with my insurance. I then called the used dealership where I purchased my car and they said that it was a scam and to disregard it. I am turning this over to my local postal service, as this same company has also sent me mail with the same threats. I also went to consumer protection .gov and filed a complaint online with them. ALSO... I met someone who fell for this scam and mailed them $275.00 to an address that they gave him on the phone. He changed his mind and sent them a letter requesting to cancel but the letter came back as unable to deliver. ??? These criminals need to be caught and prosecuted!!

  • Rec'd call on Jan 14, 2009 @ 10:59 AM MST, Jan 19, 2009 @ 11:38 AM MST, Jan 22, 2009 @ 9:59 AM MST, Jan 27, 2009 @ 2:19 PM MST, Jan 30, 2009 @ 11:13 AM MST, and Feb 13, 2009 @ 9:41 AM MST.They are a collections company calling to collect a debt for AT&T.I understand that and know they are not covered by the DNC.I don't mind when they call me, however, if I'm not home to answer the phone or I can't answer the phone because I'm giving my son a bath or changing his diaper, they automatically put it down as if they don't know where I am (though my name is clearly on my answering machine and I've spoken to them several times in the past) and then they start skip tracing and calling all my old roommates and my family members who live in CA, NV, and CO.That pisses me off. They are flat out harrassing my parents and old roommates who don't even live in the same state as me.

  • Your right they cant get your money from your account now. Now you have defaulted on an agreement with that office. If need be they can garnish your wages up to 25% depending on the state that you live in . It is not a scam. You owed the money and your just making matters worse by not paying. Yes you may have to pay extra fees yes it doesn't seem fair but what a lot of people don't understand is that any one who recieves a loan or credit card agrees to the terms when they sign the contract and a lot o people don't read them carefully.

  • collecting a debt, not for me for someone else. they are very rude, threatening, has called not only me but my daughter, giving misleading information to try and get information they want. I ask they not call again that I had no information to give them, but his response was," you shouldn't of given your name as a reference to this person they were trying to find, ( I did not ) when I ask them not to call me or my family again, he said WOMAN I can do whatever I want. they have continued to call if I can find an address for them will file a restraining order.
