  • Asked for James. Then tried to ask who I was. I told him he dialed a wrong number.

  • My daughter received a call on our home phone from a man with a foreign sounding voice. When questioned on who was calling the man hung up and then called her on her cell phone. He offered a prize of $2.5 million and she could collect the winnings at a Western Union office. I got on the phone and the caller hung up.

  • the gentleman(if a crook may be classified as a gentleman) has made multiple attempts to contact an elderly member of my family for the purpose of attaining several thousand dollars in exchange for a multi-million dollar return...i have listened to this crook's voice on the phone while my relative and he were unaware on the other line. the fraudulant party insisted that a private exchange (money wiring) be made to kingston, jamaica without anyone present. if you know anything about these people, please leave your accounts here, i am checking this site periodically...winston83

  • Some scammer called me from this number claiming to be publishers clearing house and told me I won 2 million dollars and just had to pay some mandatory fees. Obviously a scam.

  • This caller was phishing for bank account information, claiming I had won a substantial prize, that I only needed to $200 into a bank account in order to receive the prize. The accent was very difficult to understand. I reported this activity to our police department but I continue to receive harassing phone calls from this person who identifies himself as "Elmo Emmanuel."

  • I won $1.5 million sweepstake as soon as I sent $395 via Fed Ex to an address some where in North Carolina. They also said they would come to my home to pick up the money and then release the winnings to me.

  • Caller said I had won $1.5 million in the publisher's clearing house sweepstakes and then proceeded to try to get my name and address. I told him I would not divulge any personal information and that I thought the call was bogus since I highly doubted publisher's clearing house would call me from a cell phone. When I researched the area code I found that there is a scam being perpetrated from 876, 809 and 284 area codes to try to get people to call back so they can bill enourmous amounts for the phone call. I'm not sure if this is what the Jamaican fellow was trying to do since I cut him off so quickly, but I do know he was up to no good.

  • Telephone calls from this number have been ongoing for more than a year. They have a package of documents for someone living in my household. Form more than a year, we have refused to wire money for a package nor have we stopped receiving the calls. They pretend to state that there is a courier service with the package and that they cannot destroy the package. Today, they called twice (so far) stating that they are the United States customs service. The calls cease for few days and then start up again. It is totally annoying and the person on the other end has called back even when they have been hung up on.

  • Received a call from an unknown number. Caller claimed to be a representative of UPS delivery service and was about to deliver $5,000,000 cash to me at my home address. I only had to send $3,000 dollars first via the Western Union at Walmart to 23 Sharn Thompson, 23 Market St, Jamaica WI. When I asked for a number to call back yo I was given this number to call.

  • Calls (two to be exact) from this number promised some dollar winning amount from Publisher's Clearing House if we called back. First call was to someone at a different address. I couldn't exactly understand the speaker, probably not a native American English speaker. They had the name and address correct the second time, but calling back an unknown 876 number is not something I choose to do.

  • Received repeated calls from the 876 area code. This last one came at 5 in the morning and demanded to speak to my wife. When I asked what this was in reference to since he just woke us up, he got angry and hung up.
