Got a call and e mail from Lifestyle Today saying they were the editorial section of the Thames Valley Leader....And wanting permision to print the editorial at a cost of £250.00.When I pointed out thah I had paid etc they said they still needed confirmation.Contacted the Leader and they are nothing to do with them.They are conmerchants.Avoid and be warned

What about them calling my home number? I have no way of choosing a ringtone for this phone, since it is a landline...these clowns are annoying and don't leave messages when the answering machine picks up. I get from one to three calls per day from these nuts! I have no dealings with any company called Apstar Financial, so if Dunn and Bradstreet is giving, selling, loaning, renting or whatever, our numbers, we have a right to get angry. It is an invasion of privacy for them to "drop by" without an invitation, let alone as a complete stranger with an anonymous name on Caller ID.

My wife just received a call from the this number saying they were from SKY, and that they wanted to give us a 10% discount for being good customers?? They just wanted her to confirm our bank details?? She told them that the bank details were mine and put me on the phone. The guy then changed his story to say that it was a discount on the £6 a month SKY insurance that we were paying? When I told him we didn't pay such an insurance he said MY MISTAKE AND HUNG UP???????? Be very careful!!!!!!
