they always call and when we pick up no one is ever there.I recieved a call from 1-901-672-6179 today (01/21/2010 at 1:28 pm EST). The caller was a male (sounded caucasian, late 30's-40's with a heavy southern accent -- researching the number I found it is out of Memphis TN) who asked for Mr. (then completely mispronounced my last name). I said "well that's a bit of a mispronounciation, can I ask who is calling". The guy said "No" and hung up. I attempted to call the number back after finding a record (by entering the number in google) of them calling others. I don't know what their game is but it sounds like a scam of some kind.They call telling me that I was a preferred customer by Visa or MasterCard. I told them I didn't have a Visa or MasterCard, then he ask me if I had a debit card. He said I won $1000 shopping spree and I will get 3 magazines free, but 1 magazine I would have to pay $3 for and thats for a year. I told him no and hung up.20min. later they called me back from a different number and it was a different man. Watch out for them!!I received an unsolicited text from this number.Got a call from PCR but I didn’t answer because I had no time. Why did they call me?Calls almost everyday. Who is this? Can they be stopped? This call was at 8:33pm
